Taste of Blood, 1999

This is one of my favorite Draig pictures, and probably had the most work put into it out of any that went into the slideshow. I decided early on to just use red on a black and white drawing, probably because I had just come into possession of a pen with ink as richly blood-red as I could ever ask for. The blood is very gooey and I'd hesitate to think about why, but he's just about to snake his tongue out and lick more of it off his hand.

Looking at this picture 11 years later, there are some things I would have done differently, but I still love it.
